Types of S/W Testing.
1-White box testing:
-WBT is done by Developer.
-Testing each and every line of source code is known as White box testing.
-only DE can see the source code and have a right to change in Src, hence it is also called as Unit Testing, Transperant Testing, Structural Testing, OpenBox Testing and GlassBox Testing.
2-BlackBox Testing:
-Varifing the functionality of an application against the requirement specification is known as BlackBox Testing.
-This testing is done by Test Engineer.
-TE have no authority to see the Src, hence it is also called as Darkbox Testing, Behavioural Testing, CloseBox Testing and Functionality Testing.
3-GreyBox Testing:
-This testing is done by SDET (Senior Development Engineer in Test)
-Here the TE finds the defects also fix the defects by doing the changes in Src.
-The changes done by TE after the approval of DE.
